Bulls sign Boozer
The Chicago Bulls may not have landed LeBron James, Dwyane Wade or Chris Bosh, but they didn’t come away empty-handed.
The Bulls signed power forward Carlos Boozer to a five-year contract worth around $80 million.
Boozer immediately got in contact with James and tried to lure him to Chicago, but the efforts fell on deaf ears.
It’s an unfortunate situation for the Bulls, who spent a lot of time clearing cap space to reel in at least a star or two.
That isn’t to say that they are completely talentless, as Boozer joins a team with Derrick Rose and Joahkim Noah.
