Bulls sign Brewer

The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Ronnie Brewers to a three-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Brewer said he could have gone to the Boston Celtics in a sign-and-trade deal but felt Chicago was a better fit.

He could get a chance to start at shooting guard and play alongside point guard Derrick Rose.

Going to the Bulls also reunites Brewer with forward Carlos Boozer, who was his teammate in Utah.

He will also get to play alongside shooting guard Kyle Korver, another one of his Utah teammates now with the Bulls.
